Flight Test Engineer Noise AND Vibe

- Supported flight test missions at customer sites to capture noise & vibe, and carrier suitability data. These duties included pre- and post-flight functional test procedure execution on our UUT (Unit Under Test), supporting pre- and post-flight mission briefs, test point execution in the control room, data download, and providing a daily report to the team & flight test lead to summarize the day's events. These efforts contributed to the successful completion of all the NV (noise & vibe) test points for multiple loadouts and brought the NV portion of the flight test program on the platform to its conclusion - Drafted test requirements sheets, quick look reports, and final test reports, and carried them through to release - Performed MOP (Measures of Performance) evaluations of flight test data and incorporated the results into the final test reports - Provided a weekly brief to the flight test lead of the release status of all LM documents in queue, which was then briefed to the customer, as well as a weekly status update to the flight test lead on changes to hardware alignment for situational awareness on potential impacts for program schedule - Performed functional duties by serving as the team POC for visit certs to various customer sites - Cataloged all of the hardware that was set up for the team's instrumentation lab on-site - Coordinated with the rapid manufacturing team to set up a design package for protective covers to be used on the UUT
