Assistant Teacher of Italian in the Modern Languages and Literature Department

- Assistant Teachers (or ATs) are integral for the Modern Languages and Literature department. The department's philosophy regarding languages is that a student must be fully immersed in a language in order to actually learn it - Introduction language classes meet five times a week with their Professor and three times a week with the student - Assistant Teacher. In doing so, students gain the valuable opportunity to converse in their language of study with fellow students - My duties include setting up a 50 minute lesson plan, having the necessary conversational skills to answer questions
