    overview
    • Contributed in data collection for a NSF supported project in the scientific evaluation of a new alignment method for total knee arthroplasty. Utilized the software OsiriX to analyze the MRI and CAT scans. • Researched kinematic alignment of the knee pre and post Total Knee Arthroplasty (TKA) surgery with guidance from Orthopedic Surgeon Dr. Howell. • Participated in a 3 member undergraduate team to research a Patellofemoral contact force sensor. Researched currently available similar devices and studied the anatomy of the patellofemoral contact areas. Progressed to design concepts for a piezoelectric force sensor.
