•Two Rutgers Professors (Dr. Edward Ramsamy-Director of the Africana Studies Department and Dr. Gale Tate-Former Director of Africana Studies Department) allowed me to write a chapter in their upcoming textbook that documents the black experience. • Researched case studies and various statistical analyses to write a chapter outlining the rates of minority underrepresentation in medicine and the opportunities (or lack thereof) granted to aspiring medical practitioners to at every level starting from high school through residency.
