In high school, I was often required to public speak in front of my peers-- a task which I found horribly daunting. As a means of breaking out of my comfort zone, I began taking guitar lessons. In no time, I was singing in front of complete strangers! Public speaking became second nature.
I am motivated by my drive to make a difference as I enter the workforce. Though I always strive to succeed academically, I hope to utilize my college courses as a means of obtaining a career in which I can use my Communication and Journalism degrees to ethically influence the lives of others.
