    Presented information both within the organization and to members of the media locally and at the state level to promote initiatives and foster positive relationships for upcoming projects. Developed and implemented strategic plans to partner with board members and other members of the community to help develop community engagement, financial support, and participation in initiatives. Coordinated and executed event and fundraising planning for various school and town events such as Juneteenth, volunteer missions, voter registration drives, field trips for underserved communities, and other events that helped bring visibility, joy, and inclusion to the community. Wrote personalized curriculum and facilitated over 20+ training sessions on DEI topics such as restorative justice practices, anti-bias, and anti-racism training, and other culturally proficient practices to build belonging and mutual understanding for all members of the community and workforce so the workplace is inclusive and welcoming. Proposed recommended changes to current policies in detailed summary reports based on research and data collected from the community to help improve the workplace culture. Collaborated with legal and compliance teams to review policies and other legal documents. Performed budget management tasks such as creating a budget for projects, events, staffing, and initiatives for the town and school, and utilized community connections, grants, fundraisers, and volunteers to help accomplish DEI goals.
