    overview
    • Last summer, I did a complete redesign of the website for Rootstalk: A Prairie Journal of Culture, Science, and the Arts. They previously were only posting PDFs of their print layout, so I created a design that integrates with the print design but with stories now truly interactive and web-based. • I devised a workflow to convert articles in InDesign to Markdown, which we then upload to the website, which was built using Hugo, HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery. • I then created documents, presentations, and a video tutorial on the new workflow for posting content to the site. The idea was to create a workflow which would integrate seamlessly into the design/layout process for the print issue.
