- Collaborated with Mount Sinai's Associate Professor of the Department of Environmental Medicine and Public Health and the community-based organization Make the Road to examine the perceived barriers to utilizing health care services and the inequities of the COVID-19 vaccination in the Latino/Hispanic immigrant population through qualitative data utilizing ground theory methodology - Analyzed focus group interviews from two Connecticut community-based locations using Dedoose software to assist with the creation of a codebook to conceptualize significant themes that the participant sample reported - Contributed to the creation of a manuscript that is in progress to further amplify the challenges that a Latino/Hispanic immigrant experiences with the United States health care system
