Pharmacy Technician

As a pharmacy technician, I've assisted the pharmacist in providing medications to patients, along with other health-oriented services, through the following tasks. Through data entry, filling, and the selling of prescriptions to the patients, I've also provided customer service along with any assistance they might need that doesn't involve pharmacist oversight; otherwise, I'd direct them to the pharmacist-on-duty. Aside from the above, I've created and maintained patient records, made vaccine appointments, checked patients in for vaccines, performed viral testing and sent the testing results to the patient, processed insurance claims and addressed any possible discrepancy as to why the insurance didn't process the way the patient expected to the best of my ability, whether it was a deductible or something with the drug itself.
