Adult Nurse Practitioner Pre Anesthesia Testing

- 40 hours/week, full-time - November 27, 2023- present - Assisted with startup of the pre-operative testing clinic which included development and implementation of policy and procedures. Conduct pre-operative testing for patients prior to their surgical procedures. Obtain history and physicals for all patients for medical clearance for surgery. Review patient documentation in preparation for surgery. Collaborate with Anesthesia team, surgeons, and other medical team members before and during the pre-operative phase to ensure cases were completed to reduce same day cancellations of procedures. Manage care of patients who are at high risk of developing chronic post-surgical pain during the post-operative period. Serve as consultant and resource to medical team members
