Karissa DeVries

When I was in high school, I was tasked with helping special education students learn Spanish. All of them were so eager and hungry to learn that we ran out of material our first day, so we over-prepped for the next class. And all but 2 non-speaking students enrolled in Spanish the following year.

What motivates me is helping others achieve and succeed at the tasks or skills they wish to master--or even just to get started on. I get a thrill out of watching the wheels turn in people's heads while teaching them something fun that they can hold onto for their lifetime.
