    overview
I was responsible for new business development; this included, but was not limited to, cold calling/emailing prospective clients and maintaining a database of current and potential clients. In addition, I acted as the first line of contact for prospective clients, which included identifying customers' needs and providing the necessary support. While in this role, I also conducted weekly policy meetings with the CEO and Regulatory Affairs Manager to discuss the implications of current and future energy policy on business practices, which included potential risks and opportunities. From these experiences, I gained the ability to think practically regarding legislation, and its effects on business.

Fun Fact

A fun fact is that I can spin a basketball on my finger for an indefinite amount of time. The longest I've gone is five minutes, but I think I can go longer. Five minutes doesn't seem like a long time, but keeping that ball spinning for that length of time gets tricky.
