• Key equipment design engineer, and chief financial officer for a greenfield fungicide (chlorothalonil) plant producing P&IDs, stream tables, selecting and sizing process equipment/materials via Aspen Plus which are then illustrated on spec sheets. • Gained experience in determining the technical and economic feasibility of chemical plant design through the gathering of data on raw materials, products, thermodynamic parameters and plant practices.
Engineering Economics 2018
• Designed a proposal for the economic recovery of pyridine from a waste stream using microporous polymer membranes. • Selected and sized process equipment/materials by hand/Excel using Wilke–Chang and Timmerhaus methods while calculating projected start-up and annual costs. • Became skilled in the evaluation of economic manufacturing operations; including accounting principles, investment alternatives, management of production costs, analysis of annual reports and safe production practices.
Energy Balances 2017
• Constructed a multi-cell battery via reduction of magnesium and copper nitrate producing enough current to power an RC car. • Used circuit theory to evaluate a pseudo resistance across the RC motor, and oxidation kinetics for optimal solution concentrations. • Developed a keen understanding of thermodynamic principles; including combined mass-energy balance systems and real gas relationships.

During high school my team and I competed in the IHSA State Semifinals for Men's Gymnastics, and won two years in a row. The work that my body and mind endured, with the additional obligation of work and school, conditioned me for an array of valuable qualities found in industry and life in general.
Passion
I have a passion for home improvement. Weather I'm simply painting drywall, putting in new flooring, or even changing light fixtures I love to see how a room can transform and be appreciated by myself guests, and family. These hands-on projects add comfort to the most important place in the world.
