    Within an organization realizing annual sales of over $1 billion, responsible for working directly with 2 of the 5 Venture Partner Members, over 60 of their distribution centers, and over 170 suppliers to ensure the attainment of sales goals and to provide quality customer service. Categories managed are dairy, protein, seafood, canned, frozen, and non-foods. • Plan and prioritize sales activities in working toward achieving agreed business aims and market development strategies. • Maintain distributor sales orders during entire process, including order entry, order confirmation, order clarification, and order changes ensuring all appropriate documents are filed in cloud repository. • Update Venture Partner Member corporate overhead and initiative-based financial accounts (as they relate to IPAP orders). • Generate and send supplier purchase orders and supplier confirmations for direct ship orders and IPAP Dairy and Protein consolidated program. • Provide quotes to distributors on currently ordered products, comparable products, and new product lines to aid in the increase of sales. • Initiate sample request for assigned distributors, communicate request to suppliers, and provide distributor feedback to suppliers. • Identify possible areas of growth with distributors. • Provide distributors with daily and weekly dairy market prices to assist distributors in determining the optimal timing of their order placements • Assist distributors in determining whether to place orders through a centralized system versus direct buy to achieve supply chain savings. • Provide point of sale and brand roll-out documents to distributors for private label brand conversions and new product promotions. • Develop Standard Operating Procedures for streamlining processes. • Provide logistics support to distributors by organizing shipments to maximize product combinations and stay within weight and cube limits. • Provide logistics support to both distributors and suppliers by resolving issues with delivery dates, warehouse destination issues, order issues, etc. • Provide accounting support by reconciling invoice discrepancies between suppliers and distributors and issuing debit / credit memos accordingly. • Provide claims support to suppliers and distributors by resolving issues such as overages / shortages and bills of lading discrepancies and issue debit /credit memos accordingly.
