- I work as the data champion for the team. Use Tableau to review and analyze incorrectly posted cross charges (About 25 million lines). My analysis helped create a governance model for new cross charge policies - In the last 3 months, I have automated 10 processes that saved over 40hrs/week spent manually doing it. My automation provides improvement to monthly close processes and enables stakeholders make timely decision - Automated the Schedules for the Key Financial Ratios which helped facilitate a faster monthly Close Meeting - Work directly with the VP Finance and Finance Director to put together Close Meeting Schedules, follow up on Close Meeting action items and send tracking updates to the CFO every month - Deep dive analysis of all the accounts in Cisco US and Canada to identify FX accounts for remeasurement using SQL and Tableau and recommended solutions to key business partners on how to improve the close process - I oversee all Intercompany transactions between Cisco US, Cisco Technology Inc and all Cisco China entities - Work with US and China treasury team to ensure accurate settlements of all R&D and Cost Plus Fee - Facilitate the collection of Finance Black Books from all departments prior to the close meeting, ensure they are in accordance with close book policies and send confirmation to the CFO every month - In charge of reviewing fixed asset accounts and providing flux updates on the balance sheet - OPEX review to explain major movement in the P&L, setting up meetings with account owners to provide more information on transactions that needs further explanation
