- As a Technical Lead, led the Data and Insights team at WIC in developing a modern data architecture to facilitate large-scale analytics and derive actionable insights. Reengineered systems from SQL Server, SSIS, and SSRS to a unified solution utilizing Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Databricks, achieving a 37% reduction in infrastructure and maintenance costs - Managed WIC operations team that addressed production issues, product issues, customer escalations, and maintenance of production environment. Through clear communication and proactive monitoring, escalations and production issues were brought down by 40 - Performed intensive data mining, data cleansing and data transformations to bring accurate and trustworthy data into Medallion architecture - Managed security of the data systems using Azure Active Directory and product provided solutions - Delivered demos on new features, trainings on Power BI, workshops on digital data transformation which were aimed at improving user adoption - Conducted training sessions on technical topics as well as problems solved in our ongoing projects that have high probability of recurrence in other projects - Actively contributed to internal Microsoft communities on topics like Power BI, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL etc
