•Through participation in 10+ factory master plan discussions, presented 7 different ideas of additions to the tox machine which fixed ergonomic issues and the ability to produce 7 parts per minute. • Identified recurring trends in OEE, downtime and yield present within Brilliant Factory and determined process improvement • prospects, thus improving uptime and efficiency by 20%. • Executed a 5-step TPM plan following lean methodologies such as 5S, kaizen and poka-yoke which mitigated downtime • issues and reduced 20 minutes of non production. • Performed due diligence by sorting through 100+ documents in Windchill, updated and standardized out of date documents • for 11 automatic presses making it easier for a new operator to learn how to operate a specific press. • Designed a model applying engineering techniques to simulate testing of a new method for current parts handling coming off seven presses fixing ergonomic issues. • Assisted maintenance team in providing quality assurance towards equipment’s and processes.
