Fun Fact

I learned about empowerment from my older sister, AnnaRose, who has Down syndrome and has become into a powerful self-advocate. Working alongside her my whole life, I've developed a passion for leadership and social change that has shaped my academic and career goals, as well as my character.

Passion

I'm passionate about narrative as a tool for empowerment, especially in schools and in the courts. Narrative is persuasive and personal, undeniable, and can inspire empathy and compel a sense of empowerment. I want to eventually enlist narrative as a tool for empowerment and meaningful change.
