    As a project Manager, Project Designer, Architecture / Urban Designer. I directly supervised 3 designers in New Haven and 4 in our branch office in Shenzhen. Work includes: project management, team leading, and communicating/negotiating with clients & governments. Coordinate/collaborate with branch offices & consultants. Provide architectural /urban /master planning designs, strategies, research, analysis, and presentation. Projects: • Conducted 20+ global projects in architecture, urban design, and master planning in China, Japan, Israel, Canada, and the USA. • Promoted after minimum time in grade, reporting directly to the firm’s partners, co-founder, and clients. • Led team of 34 to optimize a 6.58-hectare, 4.8M ft², USD $20M mixed-use development in Guangzhou, CHN. Project included a 330m office skyscraper, hotel, commercial, 2 residential towers, and 6-block overall master planning, with tight 1.5-yr. schedule. • Presented and persuaded a conservative Chinese client and local gov’t in 15 days, leading to USD $8M contract signed. • Spearheaded 6-member team’s collaboration with 80+ int’l consultants from 20+ companies for grand casino resorts in Osaka & Yokohama, JPN. Master-planned project welcoming +97K tourists, earning USD $200M in tax revenue annually for local gov’t. • Moderated and bridged joint venture of 30+ people from 2 Japanese real estate tycoons and 5 int’l consulting firms in mixed-use project with the largest floor-plate size in Tokyo, through seamless trilingual communication. • Ran team of 3 for unified design of Albuquerque, NM performing arts center inspired by Native American pueblo village relic. • Incorporated contextual and Jewish traditional elements into the design of a contemporary Four Seasons Hotel in Tel Aviv, ISR. • Formed urban/landscape solutions for the podium of 1.8M ft² dev. of Vanke Headquarter in Shenzhen, CHN. • Reinforced the design development of Salesforce Transbay Transit Center, San Francisco, CA landmark. • Demonstrated the urban analysis for the Center of Creative Expression and Technology of Hackley School in Tarrytown, NY. • Won worldwide design competition finished in 2 months with team of 2, securing the largest mixed-use development in Toronto, CAN’s history, with 4.3M ft² of office, retail, public park space, and 800 residential units. • Introduced local culture in design of Japan’s tallest skyscraper Azabudai Hills, and dev. for 9.3Mft², 20K employees/3.5K residents/35M annual visitors. Facilitate project to obtain LEED Neighborhood Development & WELL Certification in Japan. • Integrated localness in master planning, urban analysis, and presentation to pursue China Green Building Design 3-Star for the Chengdu (CHN) Museum of Natural History, an eye-opening approach to the modern ethos and historical legacy. • Awarded top design in competition for 369-room Jen Hotel by Shangri-la, built at the heart of Shenzhen, CHN. • Customized the master planning of Ocean University campus in Qingdao, CHN, and delivered results in 3 weeks.
