• Led the Electronics and Mechanical sub-teams, managing 8 students and led R&D for innovative projects and solutions for chassis and electronics designs for our model, acrylic car, powered by chemical reactions
• Worked cross-functionally with 5 sub-teams to troubleshoot electrical/mechanical problems and design products matching their specification, making data-driven improvements
• Designed and created new simplified circuit for the car’s motor controller along with a full mechanical and electrical redesign, greatly improving competition performances and reliability, competed at Nationals from 2020-2022 and placed 1st and 2nd at the Northeast Conference
• Organized team logistics, meetings, and recruitment for Electronics & Mechanical sub-teams. Assigned meaningful deliverables and detailed research assignments for continuous design improvement
