• • Demonstrated cross-cultural understanding and communication skills by planning, developing and executing lesson plans to teach Business English, and current events to middle/high school students in China. • Analyzed students’ knowledge in the field of English, with specialized focus in grammar and vocabu-lary to close knowledge gaps and help students achieve a higher performance. • Successfully navigated and adapted to a new culture while living in Beijing for over three years while enhancing cultural understanding between China and the U.S. in a classroom and social setting. • Served as team leader of a group of Expat teachers in our efforts to plan and execute a concise teach-ing curriculum in compliancy with Chinese regulations and laws. • Established a strong commitment to students’ success by volunteering to lead an after-school pro-gram that tutored students in the fields of English language, American History, and current events. • Assisted newly hired foreign teach in transition to their new roles with training and mentoring. • Demonstrated history of project managing various projects during my time at the University.
