overview
- Responsible for installation, configuration, and troubleshooting the performance and status of Avera eCare technical resources (hardware, software, bandwidth, infrastructure) in use by and between Avera eCare sites. Responsible for staying current on information technology, video conferencing, telemedicine and telecommunications issues that apply to the support of video and audio devices, PC's, servers, network equipment and applications on the Avera network. PCI, HIPPA and JCAHO compliance
- Day to day responsibilities include but are not limited to troubleshooting user issues pertaining to network access (Active Directory and/or LDAP), network connectivity and throughput issues (internal Cisco switches, routers, wireless, firewalls, MPLS circuits, routing, web proxy, certificates, etc), application issues with Polycom RealPresence, Cisco Jabber Video, Cisco Jabber IM and Presence, Spark IM, VMware Horizon Management, Exchange email in Outlook, along with Word, Excel, etc (Microsoft Office), Citrix Receiver/Netscaler, Windows 10 operating system on internal PC's, Philips ECM (eCare Manager), EHR (Electronic Health Records) issues internally and externally (Meditech, Epic, Cerner, etc) and PACS Imaging (picture archiving and communication system
- Hardware configuration, installation, managing and break/fixes include but not limited to Cisco switches, routers, wireless, phones and firewalls, Polycom (HDX series, Group Series and RealPresence Debut) and Cisco (TelePresence) video conferencing equipment, Stethoscopes, Horus Scopes, Glidescopes, TytoCare Exam Cams, Sony Handycams, Dell and Lenovo desktops, laptops, monitors and other peripherals, card readers, scanners and printers, American Well kiosks, Jaco medical mobile carts, Apple iPads for clinical users, and Windows server 2012 and 2016 (printer server, DNS management, VM's and other uses
- Tools used for configuring, managing, troubleshooting, monitoring and ticketing include but not limited to Putty, Wireshark, PingPlotter, SolarWinds (SNMP, IPAM and Service Desk), Windows SCCM (Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager), WSUS (Windows Server Update Services), Windows Group Policies, Windows IIS (Internet Information Services), Cisco Call Manager (Cisco Unified Communications Manager
