    - Community Engagement Of icer for Councilmember Lynette McElhaney - On behalf of the Oakland city council, my responsibilities were to establish a positive rapport with all constituents of Oakland's District 3: renters, homeowners, unsheltered/homeless, faith-based organizations, corporate businesses, and small business owners. I was responsible for incoming constituent inquiries and problems - I was also a resource guide listening to constituents' needs and connecting them to resources/services provided by the City of Oakland and Alameda County. I connected constituents to Covid-19 resources: County Covid-19 updates, CARES Act funds, emergency funds, emergency housing, meal deliveries, PPE, and accessing testing sites. Assisted in citizen inquiries into public works requests. I also helped constituents apply for permits to host community events - Responsibilities also included attending all city hall meetings that pertained to Oakland's District 3. Assisted in presentation preparation and report backs for Oakland's city council meetings, Alameda County Covid-19 response meetings, and Unsheltered/Homeless Encampment Crisis meetings - My responsibilities were also to connect with all community engagement meetings to listen and understand community needs. I collaborated with city stakeholders to address issues collectively. I worked closely with Adams Point Neighborhood Group, Lake Merritt Advocates Working Group, Neighborhood Crime Prevention Coalitions, and the Violence Prevention Coalition. I was also liaison with West Oakland Health Center, West Oakland Senior Center, Downtown Oakland Senior Center, Defermary Recs and Parks, and the Mcclymonds community - I hosted community engagement opportunities such as community town hall meetings, neighborhood/community cleanups, encampment cleanups, and tabled at local farmer's markets.
