overview
• Designed and developed the core module of an application using C++: This module receives multiple types of data from various sources and uses a hierarchy of data sources and calculations to generate a file utilized across the system.
• Developed and released a real-time application: Translated an academic application into an industrial-quality solution that calculates 30 frames per second using power engineering calculations in a multithreaded environment.
• Designed, developed, tested, and delivered a real-time application using C#: This application processes 30 data points per second for each signal, processes the data, and sends it to the engine. It saves the engine's results to CSV files or a SQL Server database, generates PDF
reports, and sends emails to recipients.
• Utilizing the .NET framework to design, code, and deploy features for an existing real-time synchro phasor monitoring desktop application
and a new state-of-the-art synchro phasor desktop application.
• Engaging in ongoing dialogues with site operators and reliability engineers to dissect and comprehend unique requirements for an industry-
first application, ensuring the project remains on track for timely and budget-efficient completion.
• Collaborated with clients to create application mockups for a leading-edge, multi-million-dollar application, securing stakeholder buy-in and
elevating end-user satisfaction through tailored, innovative solutions.
• Assumed full ownership of the middleware for a data-intensive application, utilizing a three-node Kafka cluster in a Linux VMware
environment. Spearheaded comprehensive testing and collaborated closely with power engineers to guarantee high availability
• Proactively identified and resolved critical software issues, fortifying the stability and reliability of real-time dynamic applications.
