1. Responsible for conducting and leading all canine training and employment in critical life-preserving roles of explosive material detection
2. Advise and brief senior leaders on the capabilities of the canine team during planning for real world missions and training scenarios
3. Provide USAFCENT MWD program manager a detailed monthly report with total search times and utilization of the deployed MWD
4. Establish and monitor an effective and efficient training program for MWD teams.
5. Coordinated joint training with Explosive Ordinance Disposal (EOD) personnel and coalition forces
6. Train and supervise MWD teams on and off the installation performing duties such as Force protection security checks, traffic stops, personnel escorts, ammunition escorts and access issues
7. Train and validate MWD teams in explosive detection and controlled aggression
8. Supervise and conduct Force Protection and Anti-Terrorism measures such as conducting random checkpoints, vehicle inspections with and without canine assets
9. Evaluated and provided technical expertise to increase canine mission capability, correct any deficiencies, and schedule further training
10. Experienced in safe explosive handling, explosives storage protocols and explosive transportation protocols. Alternate custodian for all explosives used in training
11. Responsible for the maintenance and inventory of approximately $420k in military assets
