    overview
    I designed and developed a consistent, efficient synthetic method for the creation of elastic materials with tunable mechanical properties during Summer 2017. Conducted tensile testing to evaluate elastic modulus and hysteresis. I performed DMA testing to both develop a Time-Ethanol Superposition for frog leg tendons and determine the mechanical properties of polyurethane rubbers of Shore 40A and 60A Hardness in Summer 2018. I now examine resilience in synthetic and biological systems as a property of impulsive deformation.

Fun Fact

I am working on conquering my fears and every year I conquer a new one. Last year I went skydiving to conquer my fear of heights, this year I am learning to scuba dive to conquer my fear of depths.
