    overview
    - Transfection of specific cell groups or types with CMP-PEI polyplexes with target gene vector. Post-transfection analysis of cell groups is performed to determine the extent, accuracy, and usefulness of said transfection - Analysis of a variety of cell-based assays to determine biochemical and proliferative activity. MTS, MTT assays were run on - Griess/Arginase assays were run to determine extent of differentiation through detection of key reagents - Transwell/scratch assays were run to determine cell migratory behavior in the presence of biochemical stimulants - Creation and Specialization of CMP-PEI (Collagen Mimetic Peptide - Polyethyleneimine) "polyplexes" for gene delivery with encapsulated gene vectors. The sizes and compositions of polyplexes are extremely specific and need to be specialized for - Utilize modern tools, including microplate readers, CD (circular dichroism) photo-spectrometers, hemocytometers, ELISA - Growth and activation of "RAW264.7" macrophages, and "NIH-3T3" fibroblasts onto tissue culture plastic, 3-D gel designs - Activation of macrophages were carried out through the introduction of select biochemical stimulants, such as IL-4
