overview
- Coordinate with engineering and technical writers daily to ensure up to date work instructions and procedures
- Lead and Train all technicians on the team as well as maintain and create training matrix systems and tracking spreadsheets
- Daily use, pm's, calibrations, and maintenance of various tools. Such as: hioki resistance machines, amada miyachi laser cutter, pneumatic and electric cranes and hoists, ats laser welding machine, argon tank regulators, automated torque drills, Oeteker automated pressure crimp, helium leak testing, high powered laser welding
- Daily use of handheld and shop automated tools including but not limited to calipers, micrometers, drills, wrenches, allen keys, tap screws, band saw, table saw, vertical bandsaw etc
- Building and installation of circuit boards, current collectors, cabling, thermocouples, manifolds, etc on variations of single cells and modules and module to module connections
- Closely coordinate and perform root cause analysis, failure modes and resolution, and rework standardization with, engineering, scientists and IQC (I.E. fishbone reports etc
- Closely work with engineers and ehs to perform risk hazard analysis and process improvements ergonomically
- Familiar use and maintanance of m.e.s and mbom systems including quick base, ignition, tulip, arena, asana, oracle, jira etc
- Fashion, troubleshoot, design, connectorize, repairs, building and routing of low and high voltage wire harness
- Consistent use of solder tools, meggers, digital multimeters, thermal imaging of pcba boards
- Help in scaling r&d processes and bringing up lean manufacturing processes
- Led initiatives on gauge r&r's for scalability and reliability
- Some Solid works (CAD) experience with designing prototype parts and fixtures
