Leading the Onboarding team of 4 product managers, 3 designers and 30+ engineers globally; 3 fast-track promotions within 15 months ● Automation Achievement: Built a Straight-Through Processing (STP) engine from scratch that automates business onboarding KYC, reducing account opening lead time from 3 business days to minutes. Rolled out in the US, UK, Europe, Canada, Australia, and China within 15 months, processing over 100k cases in 2023 at a 40% STP rate with a 50% reduction in processing time for non-STP cases. ● User Flow Optimization: Rebuilt the end-to-end onboarding user experience from scratch to enable STP through instantaneous verification of business and personal ID details based on jurisdictional legal requirements and requesting additional information upfront dynamically, resulting in a 3-fold reduction in Requests for Information (RFI) post KYC submission. ● AI Application: Pioneered the use of GenAI within the company and led the build of a GenAI-powered website scanner for the KYC STP engine, yielding a 50% reduction in false positives and enhancing understanding of the applicant’s business nature. Currently driving the development of an in-app customer support chat service powered by GenAI to replace the current manual ticketing system and hotlines. ● Risk Control and Fraud Prevention: Strengthened the onboarding process by introducing advanced risk controls, including digital fingerprinting, account linkage graph service, liveness check, and user access management for enterprises, leading to a 70% reduction in the 90-day offboarding rate.
