As part of an REU (Research Experience for Undergraduates) funded by the NSF, I spent a summer studying magnetic rock samples from Antarctica at the Scripps Institute of Oceanography in San Diego, and was able to present my research at the AGU Fall Meeting in New Orleans.
I'm most passionate about the environment and climate change, and making the global transition in our construction and transportation industries to clean, renewable energy as soon as possible. I hope to contribute to this through research, education and advocacy, and to make a difference.
