I was a site leader, which entailed organizing and teaching classes that prepared immigrants for the naturalization test. I connected with lawyers and worked with the library staff where we taught classes.

I worked with a 12th grade class to lobby for the Young Voter Act’s introduction into the standing committee on election law. We contacted assembly members and members of the press, and wrote and circulated a petition.
