2026 Creative Internships in Georgia

Internships in Georgia introduce students to a mix of Southern and metropolitan life—from antebellum homes and champion golf greens, to orchards and wineries, to world-class museums and shopping, Georgians hearken back to state history while forging ahead into the future. State capital Atlanta has maintained a cultural and economic presence on the international stage, especially after the 1996 Olympics spurred a revitalization of its neighborhoods. Georgia interns will be interested to know that Atlanta houses the country’s third largest concentration of Fortune 500 companies; companies like The Coca-Cola Company, The Home Depot, and AT&T Mobility have located their global headquarters in ATL. Atlanta also serves as a transportation hub, a nod to its beginnings as a railroad town, and Delta Air Lines is the city’s largest employer. Located on the Atlantic coast, and prided for its archiecutre, history and reputation for Southern hospitality, Savannah persists as an important industrial center and tourist destination. The Savannah historic district, which preserves the eighteenth and nineteenth century buildings and outer limits of the city before the Civil War, welcomes millions of visitors each year. The Port of Savannah, manufacturing, and the military also contribute to its economic scene and support Georgia internships and employment.
