Are some companies transparent with their salary information?

I honestly think it's weird that people don't know each other's salaries. It seems kind of outdated and like it leaves a lot of room for unfairness.

Does anyone think that we might be moving towards more transparency with salaries over the next couple decades?

I hope so!

Yes! A great company to look at in terms of transparency is Buffer. Check this blog post out: https://open.buffer.com/transparent-salaries/. They not only describe the actual salaries but the methodologies that bring them to those salaries.

Besides salaries, you can even see Buffer's revenue in real-time! Check that out here: https://buffer.baremetrics.com/
