Any recommendations for starting a side gig or hustle?

Hey everyone! I been able to learn from internships, extracurricular activities, and community activities but have not started up own my side hustle yet. I wanted some advice on how to brainstorm and go about finding the right side hustle or gig to try. My goal is to be able to earn extra income in addition to having flexibility in working.

Personally, given the location of my college, I've been able to do internships during the school year - but that isn't necessarily flexible. A lot of my friends go through the babysitting and or bartending service that is run through the school, that allows for students to work a few nights a week and is super flexible.

One of my good friends works with Varsity Tutors to tutor throughout the school year - it's a super flexible gig that allows you to pick up and drop tutoring lessons whenever you want, and I'm pretty sure they have a big variety of topics you can tutor in. My college also has tutoring programs you can sign up to tutor for. Or maybe try being a Teaching Assistant for a class you liked!

Good luck!

I would recommend finding something you're good at first! Take a look at your hobbies or academic strengths. When you figure that out, research how much you should charge based upon the physical labor and time spent providing the service.

Sidenote: when you think about the term "product," do not just think about the tangible product itself, but the overall service as well.
