Bucknell University, founded in 1846, is a private liberal arts college located in Lewisburg, central Pennsylvania. It is home to over 3,500 undergraduate students, 200 student organizations and a substantial Greek presence. Represented by Bucky the Bison, Bucknell home games are never dull! The Miller Run, a stream, runs through the campus, and its Olympic-size pool is just as relaxing. Students can pray at the Georgian-style Rooke Chapel and cheer on the Bucknell football team at the Christy-Mathewson Memorial Stadium. Notable alumni include novelist Philip Roth and actor Ralph Waite. Bucknell has solid academics amidst a beautiful rural setting.
