In conjunction with UnityPoint Health, Methodist College in Peoria, Illinois offers six bachelor’s and master’s programs in nursing and the health sciences. Methodist promotes four core values—dignity, integrity, inquiry and social science that drive its goal to provide its 600 students the best nursing education in the Midwestern United States. Always up-to-date with the latest technology, Methodist offers both in-person and online degree options, employs the TurningPoint classroom response system, and constantly monitors modern research in learning theory and instructional technology. Career Fairs and Networking Nights help to maximize students’ connections and opportunities for employment post-graduation. Generous financial aid is also available, as funded in part by regular community events such as the annual EDGE 5k run/walk and 10k run. Students can even be a part of something more than their studies by writing for bi-monthly MC newsletter “The Buzz” or applying to live within a brand-new housing complex, to open in Fall 2016! Whether it’s about health, education, or its students’ futures, one thing is clear: Methodist College cares.
