Mildred Elley is a private junior college and career college located in Albany, New York. It was founded in 1917 by Augusta Mildred Elley, and geared mainly towards trained women for secretarial positions. In 1985, the school expanded to offer associate and certificate degrees with a focus on career-orientation and gaining hands-on experience. It is mainly a commuter campus, with students living off-campus. Students at Mildred Elley are not burdened with a heavy workload, and the college also offers Lifetime Career Services to its graduates. Further, with NYC just a train ride away, what’s not to love?
