Monmouth University, established in 1933, is a private university located in West Long Branch, New Jersey. It is home to over 4,600 undergraduates, with small class sizes and several on-campus clubs & organizations. Its student media organizations include college radio station WMCX-FM, known for being one of the last media groups to interview Bob Marley, and a student-run record label! Greek life is active here, and students have a lot of fun cheering for the Hawks, who compete in Division I sports.
