Named after a locally famed Camp Manufacturing Company co-founder and education advocate, Paul D. Camp Community College offers A.A. & S. and A.A.S. degrees as well as professional certification programs to hundreds of students across three campuses, in Franklin, Suffolk and Smithfield, Virginia. Exciting programs available here cover such topics as emergency medical tech, business administration, religious studies and word processing. Regional high school students can participate in a dual-enrollment program with PDCCC, allowing them to earn credits or even a general education degree by the time they graduate high school. PDCCC has also been designated a Military-Friendly school, and provides full access to comprehensive distance-education tools such as Blackboard. Not sure you can afford a post-secondary education? This school goes the extra mile by participating in the iGrad: Financial Literacy program, which guides and advises students toward taking on as little post-graduation debt as possible. With small class sizes and quality faculty, Paul D. Camp Community College sets itself apart!
