Established in 1946, Portland State University is a public university located in Portland, Oregon. It has an undergraduate enrollment of over 22,600, and is recognized country-wide for its unique theme-based University Studies curriculum. Both basement and upper levels of the campus are well-connected through underground tunnels and skybridges. It integrates sustainability into its academic curriculum; addressing issues of global importance, such as climate change and poverty. There are numerous ways to get involved, with over 150 student and leadership organizations on campus. This includes 30 student-run club sports, and commendable women’s volleyball and wrestling teams.
