Founded in 1900 as Rasmussen Practical School of Business, Rasmussen College now offers associate’s and bachelor’s degree programs at 24 campuses spanning six states. Within Wisconsin, RC has campuses in Appleton, Green Bay, and Wausau, all of which maintain close communication with local employers, to ensure that their curricula teach important skills and incorporate the most modern technology. All seven of RC’s schools are available at all three campuses, although the Green Bay location has a more comprehensive nursing program, including two accelerated BSN options and an RN-to-BSN option. Rasmussen students can expect career focused-degrees and career placement support (graduates have gone on to work for many local companies, including Green Bay Oncology and the WI Department of Corrections), an affordable cost (many programs cost less than $8,000 per year in tuition) and flexible scheduling (online, blended, and self-paced courses are available.) And RC reaches out to it students through its vigorous social-media presence: recent Facebook posts from the college include a “Police Perspective” upon the pros and cons of body cameras, as well as insights into the role graphic design plays in the careers of professional musicians. For faculty that care and rock-solid preparation for a successful career, turn toward Rasmussen College.
