Nestled into Lumberton, North Carolina since 1965, the 120-acre campus of Robeson Community College welcomes 1700 students each year to its associate degree and diploma programs. Academic options at Robeson span four divisions--Business Technologies, Industrial Technologies, Health Sciences, and Public Service—in addition to career-specific programs like barbering and fire education. Many non-traditional students also earn their High School Equivalency diplomas here, and Robeson’s dedicated College and Career Readiness Department improves communication skills by coordinating special courses in English as a Second Language. And flexibility is key at Robeson: class lengths vary, at any one-month increment from one to four months long, plus they can be taken online, completely face-to-face, or as a hybrid of the two styles. Tutoring and supplemental instruction are available, and Robeson is fully accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. Since 1965, Robeson’s 200 faculty have dedicated their careers to serving the future of American education.
