You’ve probably heard of companies giving out an “Employee Of The Month” award from time to time, but one company is taking it a step further.
Aramark, a leading food, facilities management and uniform services organization, holds their “Ring of Stars” event every year to recognize the best of the best within the company. Chosen from a pool of 1,400 people, the 200 award recipients were nominated by co-workers, managers and business leaders for the honor based on their ability to go above and beyond Aramark’s core values.
What do Aramark rockstars get if they win? Try an all-expenses paid trip to Las Vegas! You heard that right: Aramark treats its top 200 employees to a four-day stay at the Red Rock Casino Resort. Another amazing bonus: Each team member gets to bring a family member or loved one to get in on the trip too.
What does this spectacular trip look like? After they’ve settled into their hotel, checked out the Bellagio Fountains and posted a picture of the Vegas Eiffel Tower on Instagram, Aramark invites winners to join them for a night of celebration, starting with a reception for award nominees, where they’ll get recognition from top Aramark executives. Award winners also receive a special ring to celebrate the achievement and get their story permanently included in the company’s Ring of Stars display at Aramark HQ in Philadelphia.
A free trip to Vegas with a loved one plus lots of other perks? Count us in. And if you want to be able to have this opportunity in the future, we’ve got one great piece of advice for you: Head over to WayUp now and explore Aramark’s open positions!
