This Week’s Top 5 Internships on WayUp

At WayUp, we’re all about matching college students and recent grads with incredible internship and job opportunities. We couldn’t resist sharing the listings that came in this week. These internships on WayUp really caught our attention – so much so that we would totally apply if we didn’t already have amazing jobs ;).

Social Media Coordinator at Red Bull

What’s this? Red Bull helps athletes, professionals, and anyone with a busy schedule to stay alert and energized. As Social Media Coordinator, you would promote the Red Bull brand, and come up with new ideas to post on Twitter and Instagram. (This internship is guaranteed to elicit a genuine, “What? That’s so cool!” from all of your friends.)

You should apply if your interests involve sports, music, & art, if you know how to work your audience on social media, or if Red Bull saved your life while you were studying for finals (#beenthere).

Android Developer at FeedMe

What’s this? FeedMe isn’t just an app: it’s a community of food lovers who want to share their appetizing experiences whether savory or sweet–from a summer slider in NYC to cakepops in Tel-Aviv. As an Android developer, you would work to improve the application’s performance, design, and efficiency, collaborating with the CTO, Product and Design teams.

You should apply if you’re a CS or Engineering major who regularly spends a solid 5-10 minutes each day choosing the best Instagram filters for posts of gourmet meals. Past experience in Android development is a major plus.

Media Intern at fitBallet

What’s this? fitBallet is a fitness company that offers personal training and group classes in NYC, as well as online training anywhere in the world. Their life-changing workouts promote empowerment, strength, and stamina. As a Media Intern, you would promote innovative outreach campaigns on social media and print outlets.

You should apply if you’re a dance enthusiast–or if you just love full-body workouts like burpees, pliés, and pushups (#fitnessgameonfleek). You have a knack for publicity, and you want to share strength-building exercises with the world.

Office Operations and Admin Internship at Petcube

What’s this? Petcube is a remote wireless camera that allows you to stay in touch with your pets when you’re not at home. You can watch & talk to your pets, play laser games with them, even share access with your family and friends–anywhere, anytime. As the Office Operations and Admin Intern, you would be handling event and travel coordination, as well as communications with pet lovers and journalists.

You should apply if you have excellent project coordinations skills and an enthusiasm for engaging with other pet lovers. Additional perk: if you love Whole Foods, Petcube will pay for your daily lunches!

Evening Delivery Driver at Parcel

What’s this? Parcel is an off-hours delivery service that delivers packages on your schedule, as in when you’re actually home to receive a package. Based in NYC, this smart startup has already been recognized in The New York Times, Refinery29, Gothamist, and Mashable. As Parcel’s Evening Delivery Driver, you will need to be reliable, punctual, and versatile: this is a exciting, fast-paced night job where no two shifts are the same!

You should apply if you’ve ever been foiled again and again by UPS’s three-time delivery method and believe that no one should ever be forced to trek to the UPS on 43rd and 11th ave in the dead of winter to retrieve a package that takes a team of 2 employees an hour to retrieve. (Oh, and if you’re at least 21 years old.)
