Viacom: Intern with a Media Network Giant

You grew up clutching the covers during episodes of “Are You Afraid of the Dark?” Your first forays into booty shakin’ were copied from Destiny’s Child music videos airing on MTV, and your personal motto, “Life is like a box of chocolates,” was taken from the mouth of one Forrest Gump.

Now you have the chance to intern with the media network that started it all: Viacom, the parent company for household names like Nickelodeon, MTV, and Paramount Pictures (just to name a few), is on the hunt for students to join their IT, design, and marketing departments. The positions are during the fall, located in New York City and are for students who want a job working with major brands.

Design For the Shows You Love

Try your hand at creating everything from show opens to logos in graphic, digital, print, and on-screen mediums. Wielding your design program know-how, work as part of an on-air team to create graphic elements and consumer products for shows on MTV, VH1, and Comedy Central. Intern with IT

Your responsibilities include collaborating with the legal, tax, and business departments to create custom software solutions; supporting back-end databases for external MTV websites; providing site support for web development projects; and testing the integrity of multimedia websites and digital music projects.
