    The Chief Administrative Office group delivers the company’s full range of capabilities for clients globally through its Public Policy, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Workforce Development, Arts & Heritage, Global Corporate Communications, External Communications, Global Corporate Security, Executive Protection, Enterprise Services, and other related functions as well as, in the U.S., through its local markets organization including nearly 100 market presidents and teams.

    Intern Program Overview

    TheChief Administrative Officer GroupSummer Analyst Program is a 10-week summer internship that will introduce you to Bank of America and the CAO organization. Our goal for summer analysts (interns) is to have the opportunity to build upon their academic foundation - specifically technical skills, industry knowledge and familiarity with a corporate environment - while pursuing their career based on their interests and background.

    Your training and development is our top priority, with extensive formal training offered at the start of the program in addition to on-the-job support, events and mentorship throughout. These opportunities include but are not limited to:

    • Bank trainings that include Mechanics of the Bank, Data Literacy, Executive Ready Presentations and more
    • An intern mentorship program
    • An executive speaker series
    • Diversity & Inclusion Employee Networks, including LEAD for Women, Black Professional Group, LGBT+ Pride and more

    A Day in the Life

    As a Summer Analyst, you will be placed on one team with primary responsibilities that may include, but are not limited to:

    • Supporting key programs designed to tell our brand story and demonstrate the value of the franchise
    • Measuring performance and completing business reviews and analysis
    • Identifying and executing on opportunities for business process design and risk mitigation
    • Writing and reviewing messaging, assisting with internal and corporate communications, media, and communication strategies
    • Supporting business needs related to reporting and analysis, special projects and other key priorities

    The CAO Summer Analyst Program assigns interns to teams across CAO teams. Internship opportunities include positions supporting various groups, including those listed below:

    • Chief Administrative Office (CAO) Business Management & Controls

    • Global Corporate Communications (internal and external)
    • Global Environmental Group (GEG)
    • Global Public Policy
    • Local Markets Organization

    *Intern team assignments are developed based on business need and aligned to skillset; therefore, cannot be guaranteed.

    Qualifications

    • Candidates are required to be pursuing an undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university. Eligible candidates must have a graduation date between November 2025 and August 2026
    • Common areas of study include but are not limited to:Business Administration, Communications, Economics, Environmental Studies, Event Management, International Studies, Political Science, Public Policy or other similar degrees
    • 3.2 minimum GPA preferred
    • Candidates should possess a high level of intellectual curiosity, a drive for operational excellence and a commitment to achieving sustainable results
    • Additionally, students should hold strong academic and technical skills in Microsoft Office as well as show proficiencies in leadership, teamwork, problem solving and analytical skills, verbal and written communication and professionalism
