Infor Scholars Overview: This is a formal internship offering aligned with Infor’s Education Alliance Program that offers students currently enrolled at a college or university access to cutting edge industry knowledge and solutions expertise.

Qualified Scholars will be placed on a specific team within an Infor department to gain comprehensive work experience. Select Scholars will have an opportunity to rotate between departments completing challenging industry-based work.

Responsibilities:

In connection with the Inforum 2017 program in New York, July 9 – 12, 2017 (the “Program”), Scholar shall assist in the event management services for the Program, including but not limited to the following:

Program Development & Management:

• Strategic planning and account management

• Program development and recommendations for enhancements

• Creative strategies and design consultation

• Help deliver and manage timeline and key milestones

• Help with communications; including weekly team calls

Budget formulation and management:

• Post-operations reports & evaluation of program, staff, property, venues and suppliers

• Site inspection(s) and planning visits, as needed

• Coordinate and plan site inspections

• Provide detailed trip specifications

Vendor management:

• Help manage communications with vendors/suppliers/sponsors to include: Audio Visual, Ground transportation, Furniture rental, Keynote Speakers, Hotel Concessions

Food & Beverage Management:

• Coordinate tastings with venue

• Coordinate menus including staff meals and special requests

• Determine guarantees and communicate to venue

• Provide on-site management

• Manage post-conference reporting and billing

Mobile App:

• Help develop a platform with proven functionality, providing a user friendly app

• Final reconciliation: Data updated on-site to actual final numbers for reporting

Housing Management:

• Help manage rooming list

• Help address housing inquiries

• Provide assistance with special rooming needs

• Help manage attrition

• Provide post-conference reporting and billing

On-site management:

• Coordinate activities and events to include, but not limited to:

• Audio Visual

• Ground transportation

• Meal functions

• Signage

• On-site communications

• Oversee all Food and Beverage Menus

• Special Requests

• Guarantee management

Applicants must be currently enrolled students for the entire duration of the internship to qualify
