What you will learn:

• Own day-to-day tasks associated with finance, e.g. category analysis, process improvement, systems enhancement, and more
• Lead an individual project with strategic business impact that you will present to senior management
• Generate and analyze financial data using a variety of systems to recommend profitable business strategies for L’Oréal brands
• Monitor actual business results vs. budgets, trends and forecasts
• Evaluate the ROI of strategic business decisions to effectively manage brand P&L
• Provide financial support to Marketing, Sales, Operations, Manufacturing and other L’Oréal operating departments
• Participate in formal and informal training opportunities
• Develop presentation skills and business acumen from assigned mentors

• A current junior with a 3.0 GPA or higher seeking a challenging summer internship
• Enjoys the idea of a start-up culture with corporate security and budgets
• Eager to support a busy finance team while contributing insight and new processes
• Thrives in a fast paced environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail analytically and result oriented
• Able to work both collaboratively on group initiatives and autonomously on individual projects
• Resourceful and successfully navigates being given a vague or new task
• Self-Starter with strong interpersonal and networking skills

Requirements:

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US on a permanent ongoing basis without requiring sponsorship
• Ability to work in Berkeley Heights, NJ or New York, NY locations with flexibility to travel between both locations
