    The OppenheimerFunds Summer Internship Program targets rising seniors and graduate students entering their final semester/year of academic study. You will work on impactful projects while developing a robust understanding of asset management and enterprise strategy and objectives.

    Interns are paid a highly competitive hourly rate. The program begins on June 5th, 2018 and ends on August 17, 2018.

    Job Purpose:

    The Business Development Services (BDS) Team prepares requests for proposals (RFPs) and due diligence questionnaires (DDQs) for new business opportunities and existing clients to accurately reflect OppenheimerFunds’ products, investment services and strengths. The team partners with sales/client service, product managers, investment teams, client portfolio managers, risk, operations and compliance/legal staff to structure responses that address the prospect/client’s objectives. Additionally, the team maintains consultant databases and works on ad hoc projects in support of the firm’s overall sales, client service and marketing efforts.

    The successful candidate will be insightful, proactive and comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment.

    Responsibilities & Deliverables:

    • Completing RFPs and DDQs across our investment strategies for existing and prospective institutional and retail clients and investment consultants
    • Partnering with key stakeholders to ensure proposal input is accurate, persuasive and timely
    • Working with subject matter experts to develop persuasive responses to proposal questions while maintaining compliance with policy
    • Assisting with the ongoing maintenance of responses utilizing a RFP database (Qvidian)

    About you:

    • Rising senior or grad student entering final year of study with a major in Economics, Finance, Mathematics or business discipline preferred
    • Strong organizational/process management skills with strong attention to detail
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including editing and proofreading
    • Advanced computer proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
