This job contributes to Starbucks success by planning and executing assigned projects related to the development of packaging and packaging systems that supports the successful execution of company initiatives. Models and acts in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles.

Bench top to full-scale commercialization 2 years
Engineering in the food and beverage or related industry 2 years
Equipment development 2 years
Project management 2 years
Specifications development 2 years

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to work with cross-functional teams
Project management skills, including measurement, reporting and financial analysis
Basic skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Project
Knowledge and application of engineering principles
Knowledge of technical engineering design, development, certifications and standards
Understanding of food microbiology
